- Being a pioneer in Laparoscopic Surgery in Central India: Several thousands of Laparoscopic Procedures (Over 20,000 : all told, including work at MGIMS).
- Extensive Clinical and Surgical Experience with pioneering efforts in Laparoscopic surgery and Abdominal Compartment Syndrome.
Awards and recognition
- Established the faculty of Laparoscopic Surgery at MGIMS SEVAGRAM, when Dr Narang Sir was HOD.
- Being a pioneer in Laparoscopic Surgery in Central India.
- HOD Surgery at Sant Tukdoji Cancer Hospital in 1993.
- Organized first ever WORKSHOP on MIS under the Academy of Medical Sciences.
- Guest Lecture in Maharashtra Surgeons Conference: MASICON, at Amravati on Abdominal Compartment Syndromy.
